Palghar Robbery: Trio Loots Saphale Jeweller Near Kelwe Road, Attacks With Rods
Palghar: In a shocking late-night incident, a jeweller from Saphale was brutally attacked and robbed
by three unidentified assailants near Kelwe Road on Tuesday night, police officials confirmed. The
victim, Daulat Dasana, owner of Mamta Jewellers located on Kelwe Road, was reportedly targeted
while he was returning home. According to police sources, the attackers assaulted him using
bamboo sticks and an iron rod before fleeing the scene with gold valuables. Officials from Saphale
Police Station have registered a case of robbery and assault. An Assistant Police Inspector stated
that no cash was stolen during the incident, confirming that the accused specifically targeted gold
items. The injured jeweller sustained multiple injuries during the attack and was later treated at a
nearby medical facility. His condition is currently stable. Police teams have initiated an investigation
and are actively scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the suspects.
Technical evidence is also being analyzed to trace the accused. Authorities have urged residents to
remain alert and report any suspicious activity, as efforts continue to track down the culprits
involved in the crime.
